About Chef GiGi
Born and raised in St. Louis, MO, I grew up in a big family where food was always at the center of connection. My mom not only raised me but also taught me the joy of cooking from a young age. She encouraged me to try new things in the kitchen, and before long, I was making dinner for my family several nights a week.
Her creativity and passion for exploring new recipes became the foundation for my own love of food. Cooking quickly grew from a household chore into a lifelong passion. Over the years, I stepped outside of my comfort zone, experimenting with flavors, learning new techniques, and discovering how powerful food can be in bringing people together.
Today, I carry those same values into Her Signature Plate. Whether it’s soulful comfort food, BBQ favorites, or a luxury private dining experience, I aim to create meals that are flavorful, intentional, and unforgettable. For me, cooking isn’t just about feeding people — it’s about serving love, creating memories, and honoring the traditions that shaped me.
